Tournament was lots of fun, I'm glade i decided to come out and play. I beat one person and lost to two but it was fun. The division thing was kinda dumb in my opinion, considering the number of people. Some guys were complaining about losing to the same person twice in the tournament. It probably wouldn't have happened had there been just one big bracket.

No idea where throw back was but hey it was cool just checking it out. That james kid was pretty cool too, anytime i asked him where i was in the brackets he helped me out. It was well organized and I liked it a lot. The ONE thing I didn't like was one of the guys who ran the bracket (idk his name) was really stuck up and rude. If i asked him a question he just either ignored me, or didn't bother talking to me at all. But it's okay he could have been busy and didn't hear me..... .. Or not

The one thing I thought was really funny about the tournament was how Shiro was talking to me about "Edmonton Gamers" and giving me an animethon flier, when I was kinda hinting that I on his forum haha. It's okay

I guess I'll see you guys at the next tournament...

Thanks for coming out Sai, I'm James btw. yea the division thing was kind of wonky. We needed four divisions cuz we werent sure how many people would randomly show. but yea either fewer or no divisions would have been ideal but hindsight is 20/20.

The thing you gotta understand sai is that when were running a tourney there is soo much shit going through our head at every moment. Making sure all stations have people playing, making sure everyone has a controller, making sure we have out next matches ready to go and written down, and making sure we record who won correctly every time. There was times where someone would ask me something and i just had to say hold on and ignore someone because i was too busy looking for a cable for ps3 pads or something and if we dont do it right that second we will likely forget cuz there is so much shit going on. I can understand how people can be put off by being ignored but at the end of the day there are priorities for how we have to operate, if your game freezes in a match your priority #1, but if your wondering where u are in the brackets and im hunting for a ps3 pad, the pad is more pressing at the moment so im gona have to tell you to wait, or go look for yourself :P

Also we're human and after a few hours we can get tired, stressed, and edgy so if were not always 100% accommodating i hope you can understand 8-) Next tourney we totally need to have a stockpile of redbull for the organizers! I wanted to commentate for the finals but i was so tired, I just ran out of enthusiasm juice :(

But I had a great time and im glad that everything ran so smoothly, I wish we had more time to personally meet everyone. Next time if your from EG feel free to say hello and introduce yourself so we can put a face to your screen name. Thanks to everyone who came out and Im excited to meet the new members who end up coming to EG.

Yeah for sure, you were super nice man. I enjoyed everything, it was really easy. I can't believe I lost so quick, but what eve's it was really good. I'll try to get more of my friends to check out guys out when I can. Kev was there as well. Kat wasn't haha. She's really good man. You guys are more than welcomed to come to my place to play, anytime you want.

Just post in that thread I made and we can take it from there.

Good stuff eg staff? Is that what you guys are?

No need to explain. He and I had a spat a few months ago, and he's just trying to take a cheapshot at me.

lol i got beat twice and won twice. ggs though, i cant believe someone actually beat paul. that e.honda was pretty turtle ass though... like to the max.

but yeah i guess my main downfall was the fact that i was trying to go through the tourney with vega.
but no one damn brought a 360>ps3 converter! i brought my wired 360 pad and everything!
i was practicing with everyone and couldnt choose a main so i just went with vega on default.

i only use the anolog on the 360 pad and then trying to use the ps3 d-pad and anolog was like trying to write with my left hand...

lol i got beat by some random native kid who was actually pretty good aside from being young looking and shit. in my final battle it was a 1 all and in both our final round i got chipped from two blanka balls and face to face range... made me mad!
oh and yeah i beat shiro.
jk but yeah he was using dan and i was using boxer...
all that sf4 makes me actually want to play sf more!!!
sux i missed that hot asian girl as cviper

Hey, wasn't I ranked 7th as well? Why aren't I on the list? I'm Fighter2D by the way. Lol. Guess because I'm a turtle Honda noob? I didn't beat Paul's Seth by turtling all day. I had to chase him for half a match. It was a fun fight none-the-less. Honda vs. Seth is HARD.
