so it takes place down south? I think the game would be better if you could stiff have the old cast with the new cast

The new melee weapons look nice, but apparently they work similar to the gas cans/propane tanks from l4d1 in that you have to drop them to switch to a gun (can't keep them in your inventory.)

I like how they are making the campaigns more interesting too by creating multiple paths through the levels and panic events where you need to move to a checkpoint for it to end (no more closet/bathroom camping waiting it out.)

It's too bad it will be a fully priced separate game instead of just adding the features to l4d1, but I hope it does well and gets a nice mapping community behind it as well.

Did the 1st mission on the 360 last night and it's pretty much exactly the same as L4D1 gameplay wise with new maps, characters, and more special zombies. Nothings really changed but it doesn't change how addiciting the game is.

I prefer to play this on my PC, better graphics everything. The new versus mode = awesome compared to the old L4D, way more strategy.
